Teachers of Russian from 40 countries fought for victory in pedagogical Contest

The jury summed up the results of the pedagogical Download knowledge! skills contest, RIA Novosti reports. Teachers working in Russian schools abroad took part in it. The contest was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo.

More than a hundred people fought for victory, representing forty countries from around the world. They also teach the subjects of the school curriculum in Russian using modern information technologies.

According to the winner of the Grand Prix, teacher of the Russian language from India Saini Sonu, the competition served as an additional incentive for work. He added that the competition provided an opportunity to meet colleagues from other countries, exchange experience, discuss emerging issues and new ideas.

Shiraz Intizr, a Russian language teacher from Turkey, came second in the competition. The third place went to Aziza Adibaeva, another Russian scholar from Kazakhstan. The jury consisted of leading experts in the field of international relations and modern educational technologies.

According to the head of Rossotrudnichestvo Eleanor Mitrofanova, one of the main tasks of the competition is to integrate Russian experience into the international environment of professional interaction. The competition also contributes to the dissemination of pedagogical experience of the best teachers of Russian schools abroad, raising the public and professional status of teachers of Russian schools.

The competition was held in two rounds. The qualifying round was held abroad. Twenty-five finalists presented their projects in the Russian capital.
