The largest Russian flag was unfurled in Antarctica, according to RIA Novosti. Its area was almost one and a half thousand square meters. The event was dedicated to the Day of National Unity, which was celebrated in Russia on November 4. The organizers of the action were the Night Wolves biker club and the All Worlds public association.

According to the head of the association Yuri Volkov, who is also a member of the motorcycle club, ten people joined the event. They had to get to the ice continent for several days and spent the night on the shore, in the premises of an abandoned base.

Antarctica became the finish point of the All Elements route. It has covered several points around the world.

A flag measuring 1423 square meters was previously hoisted in the sky in balloons, unfurled at the North Pole, the mountain peaks of Elbrus, the islands of Kamchatka, Lake Baikal, in Moscow and the Crimea. These actions are included in the Russian Book of Records.

Yuri Volkov noted that the flag would be presented to the country in the near future.
