Father Frost's birthday is celebrated in Russia

The homeland of Father Frost, Veliky Ustyug, started to celebrate the birthday of the Russian fairytale wizard, KultInfo reports. The holiday called Three Magic Days is to turn the estate of the winter wizard into a large book of fairy tales. A lot of games, educational and entertainment programs are open within it. The first day is dedicated to the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Moscow Zoo branch.

On November 17, famous colleagues and friends of Father Frost began to gather in the toen. Snegurochka from Kostroma, Tol Babai from Udmurtia, Yamal Iri from Salekhard, Baba Yaga from Yaroslavl, Kysh Babai from Kazan took part in the celebrations. They were joined by Berendey, Alyosha Popovich, Mother Winter, Snowman and many other characters of fairy tales. All guests were able to chat with them. Fairytale Patrol theatrical performance also took place within the holiday.

On November 18, there will be a multimedia and laser show, after which Father Frost will light the country's first New Year tree. The New Year's journey of the wizard will also start from this moment. In a month and a half he will travel to three dozen Russian cities.

Muscovites and guests of the capital are invited to celebrate the birthday of Father Frost. The holiday opened in the capital's estate of the winter wizard on the territory of the Kuzminki-Lublino Museum-Reserve. An extensive entertainment program was prepared there for adults and children. These days, guests of the estate will find exciting quests, interactive games, dance flash mobs, performances by musical groups, meetings with the heroes of their favorite fairy tales, and much more.
