Russian-speaking Italian youth held rally in Verona

Russian-speaking young people living in Italy were invited to a rally called New Wave. The forum was held for the third time. It became an effective platform for strengthening contacts and developing ties at different levels. In addition, it promotes the Russian language and acquaints young compatriots with the culture and history of Russia, according to the website of the Moscow House of Compatriots.

The youth forum was held near Verona, representatives of Russian-speaking organizations from various Italian cities gathered there. The Council of Young Russian Compatriots of Italy acted as the organizer of the rally. The forum was timed to the Day of National Unity, which is celebrated in Russia on November 4.

Speakers at the conference noted that it was youth that was the driving force behind any progress. It will have a major role in creating the world of the 21st century.


The forum participants also emphasized that young people had an important role to play - to maintain the continuity of generations and become the link uniting Russia and Italy, to strengthen ties in all areas and at all levels.

The president of the Russian House Association in Verona Marina Kholenova assured that the older generation of compatriots would always support young people in their boldest endeavors and transfer their experience and knowledge.
The international quest World War II. Epilogue, leadership development training and an event to attract the young generation to a healthy lifestyle also took place within the framework of the rally. The development of the Russian-speaking youth movement in Italy was discussed during the event.
