The tenth week of Russian cinema opened in Bucharest. On November 1-3, viewers of the Romanian capital and the city of Cluj-Napoca will watch features shot by Russian directors in recent years. The screenings will be accompanied by the meetings with actors and directors of the features, the website of the Ministry of Culture of Russia reports.

Romanian moviegoers will watch seven features. The program redactors tried to select very different films for the most demanding audience, presenting as much as possible topics that appeal to Russian filmmakers.

The program includes the sports drama Going Vertical, which set a record at the Russian box office. The historical feature Tobol (The Conquest of Siberia), the sci-fi feature A Rough Draft and the Russian-Serbian military drama The Balkan Frontier, telling about the events of the NATO military operation in Yugoslavia, are also on the list.

The director of the feature Andrey Volgin will personally introduce it to Romanian viewers - he will speak about the shooting and answer questions from the public. The creators of a Rough Draft and Difficulties in Survival will also take part in the cinema week events.
