Days of Russian culture take place in Italy

The Days of Russian Culture Festival takes place in Italy, Samara information agency reports. Residents of seven ancient European cities get acquainted with Russian folk culture and traditions. Students and teachers from Samara will present their skills and talents to the Italian public.

The Alkonost ensemble and the Lik choir performed on the open air, on one of the squares of Ravenna. Russian performers encouraged residents to participate in Russian games and amusements. Another event in Ravenna was a lecture on the study of folk music. And the students of the Radost Russian language school were taught to make traditional Russian textile dolls and felted beads from wool - a traditional decoration of the national women's costume of the Samara province.

From Ravenna, Russian performers moved to Rimini. A concert at the Marco Polo Institute gave way to master classes. The culinary program of one of them was supplemented by a lesson in the Russian language. Russia in every home children's works exhibition and Corner of Russia exhibition also opened there. 

The next day, guests from Samara were met in Florence. A lesson on women's folk costume with a catwalk took place in one of the old city monasteries. The project participants walked around the city in traditional Russian costumes, attracting the lively attention of city guests and residents.
