St. Petersburg is preparing a gift for the anniversary of the Cuban capital, TASS reports. Next month in Havana, which will turn 500 years old, a concert of leading ballet dancers from the city of the Neva will take place. This issue was discussed by the Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel during a meeting with the Governor of the Northern capital Alexander Beglov.

On November 15, ballet dancers, whose names are known around the world, will appear on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Havana.

The President of Cuba recalled that Russian ballet is well known to the inhabitants of the island and is very loved by them. There is no doubt that this will be a wonderful gift for the anniversary of the city. It will be a wonderful evening, the head of state is sure.

In addition, the Days of St. Petersburg will be held in Havana. Their program includes a conference on the development of cooperation in the field of trade and economy between St. Petersburg and Cuba. Round tables will be held, the participants of which will discuss issues of healthcare, tourism and the preservation of cultural heritage. The cultural program includes choreographic master classes, an exhibition from the city archives, which tells about the historical ties of Cuba and St. Petersburg.
