Young Russian compatriots living abroad and foreign students studying Russian as a foreign language have become participants in the new educational project called I want to speak Russian. It started at Artek children’s camp as part of the twelfth session.
The organizers are convinced that the project will allow children to improve their language skills, learn more about the culture and history of our country and see how modern Russia lives.
The children had to pass the competition to come to the international children's center on the Black Sea. According to its results, a hundred winners were selected. They will be guests of Artek on the 13th and 14th sessions.
A large-scale program has been prepared for children. An individual educational route will be built for each child, thanks to which the children will organically perceive all the grandeur of the Russian language. At the end of the session, each of them will have to write his own unusual book of impressions, emotions, knowledge experienced and acquired.
According to the organizers, they decided to draw the attention of the project participants to the natural diversity of Crimea, its culture and ancient history. Children will visit Sevastopol, Feodosia and Koktebel, learn new educational routes, attend master classes from candidates of philological sciences and read around the camp fire.
