Valery Gergiev performed in Amsterdam on October 2, according to the website of the Ministry of Culture. He stood behind the conductor's stand of The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. The musicians performed works of Shostakovich and Dutiyo. The same works can be listened to in the Netherlands on Thursday, October 3. The cellist Victor Julien-Laferrier acts as a soloist.

After that the maestro will perform with the World Orchestra of Peace. The composition of this unique team includes performers from almost fifty states. Concerts are scheduled in St. Petersburg and Moscow on October 5 and 6. Their program will include Schubert and Beethoven symphonies.

On October 7, Valery Gergiev will go on tour in Europe together with the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra. The tour of the famous creative team will cover four countries at once. Russian musicians are expected at the largest concert venues. They are going to perform in London Cadogan Hall and the Musical Theater of Swiss Basel. Then the tour route will continue in Germany, where a concert will be held on the stage of the Alte Oper in Frankfurt on the Main. The final point of the tour will be staged in the Belgian Antwerp, in the Queen Elizabeth Concert Hall.
