The international festival of Russian music opens in Hungary on Tuesday, October 1, according to the Rossotrudnichestvo website. It is being held for the second time. The venues of the cultural forum will open in Budapest, Debrecen and Szeged.

The art director of the festival, the famous pianist Marcell Szabo noted that the works of Peter Tchaikovsky, Mikhail Glinka, Modest Mussorgsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Alexander Scriabin would be played this year. The work of these musicians is well known to fans of classical music around the world.

The organizers noted that the first festival, which took place last year, was a success. And a good start to the project allows to hope that it will continue to be successful.

The director of the festival Yboya Dobos has no doubt that the festival will surely take its place among other important events in the country's cultural life.

The Rossotrudnichestvo representative office will again become a partner of the festival: a photo exhibition on the work of composer Modest Mussorgsky from the funds of the Russian National Museum of Music will be exhibited at the Russian center of science and culture sites, as well as a series of concerts.
