Third All-Turkish Progress youth forum gathers compatriots in Istanbul

The Third All-Turkish Progress Youth Forum will be held on September 27 and 28 in Istanbul. Russian-speaking youth from different regions of Turkey will discuss participation in the activities of organizations of Russian compatriots, as well as in youth projects in Russia and activities to bring the peoples of Russia and Turkey closer, the website of the Moscow House of Compatriots reports.

The main topic of the forum will be the social and cultural activity of youth. Representatives of youth departments of organizations of Russian compatriots of Turkey and Turkish youth organizations, as well as specialists of Russian and Turkish societies and organizations are invited to the meeting. Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are also expected to come.

The forum is organized by the Russian Youth Association of Istanbul with the support of the Russian Embassy in Turkey, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Istanbul and the Coordinating Council of the organizations of Russian Compatriots in Turkey. The goals of the meeting are to strengthen ties between Russian-speaking youth, attract young compatriots to the events of the Russian community, and discuss cultural, educational and volunteer projects.
