Cultural project dedicated to the Winter War is to be launched in Karelia

Performances, radio shows and memorial actions to take place in Karelia in the frames of Unknown War. The Peace Lessons project dedicated to the 80th anniversary of The Winter War of 1939-1940. Actions and events dedicated to this war between USSR and Finland to take place from September to March, TASS reports. 

One of the main event is The Winter War. Black & White premier of Тeatroom theatre laboratory in Petrozavodsk on September, 30. The show will travel later to other Karelian cities to be seen by more locals and tourists. 

Karelian guests will enjoy special signs and information stands on The Winter War. Special tours around historical places and corresponding programs to be available as well. A territory around The Winter War monument to be improved.
