Japanese students learn Russian with films and animations

67 students from Japan have became participants of the monthly Russian language courses held by the Pushkin State Russian Language institute. Lectures and workshops, tours, Russian songs and animations were included in the program, website of the institute reports.

These Russian language courses are practice-oriented. It is expected that the courses will help to understand and talk Russian. For this, full Russian language immersion, concentration on dialogues, communiaction games and other related activities helping foreigners to overcome the verbal communication barrier are very important.

During the studying process, Japanese students have expressed the idea to organise the concert in the institute. They have performed Russian folk songs and popular melodies from Russin animations. Apart of this, Japanese songs and dances and Russian poems recital by Japanese students were in the program.
