One month of Russian Culture Days in Latvia

Spiritual and pop music, romances and folklore songs, international dance contest and national Russian sports competitions  are in the program of Russian culture Days in Ventspils, Latvia, Sputnik news channel informs.

Ventspils has become one of many Latvian cities, which hosts Days of Russian culture. Earlier the Days were held in Riga, Yurmala, Daugavpils and other places. More than 130 events are included in the program. 

Russian Culture Days in Ventspils have opened with Russian music concert. The festival will continue next weekend with music and poetry evening of Russian romance and  national Russian sports competition.

The Matryoshka International dance festival-contest, Russian folk and contemporary pop songs concert to take place in Ventspils in October. 95 years of Russian culture days and 10 years of of the revival of the traditions will take place next year in Latvia with extensive festive programme.
