Russian film festival opens in Alicante

The Spanish premiere of the Russian feature Beyond the Edge with the participation of the world-famous Spanish actor Antonio Banderas will be presented on September 10 at the 5th International CINE VOLNA Film Festival. The festival will be devoted to the Russian culture. One of its main events will be the opening of the film campus for young filmmakers, Russian Wave Alicante reports on its Facebook page.

CINE VOLNA Film Festival is intended for both Russian compatriots and Hispanic viewers. They will be able to watch Russian features with Spanish subtitles for free, see the performance of the Gypsy Romen ensemble and taste Russian cuisine.

The festival program also includes the opening of a school for young filmmakers, short films shooting at the festival venues, competitions and exhibitions on the history of Russian cinema, creative evenings and theatrical performances with the participation of famous Russian actors.

The CINE VOLNA festival will last from September 10 to 14, Sergey Garmash, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Natalia Bondarchuk and other famous actors will take part in the opening ceremony. The website of the festival has Russian and Spanish versions.
