Beijing Russian Center meets new Russian language graduate students

05.09.2019

New visitors came to the Russian Center of Beijing University of Foreign Languages with the start of the new school year, on September 4. They are Chinese graduate students from various universities in China, who have just entered the Institute of the Russian Language of Beijing University. This year, many new graduate students of Russian studies arrived: 36 masters and 7 doctoral students.

The head of the center Dai Guiju briefly told the guests about the history of the center and presented the main events held over the past two years. Every month, various events are held at the Russian Center to help students learn Russian, for example, Russian language lessons, round tables on the topic of Russian culture and literature, scientific seminars, symposiums, etc.

After that Professor Dai Guiju showed the library and multimedia collections of the center and talked about the rules for using educational resources and multimedia materials. She also introduced the unique IPR books resource, which provides access to large amounts of educational, methodological and popular science information from Russia. This electronic fund was provided by the Russkiy Mir Foundation jointly with IPR Media. It is very useful for the research of graduate students.
