Livadia Palace hosts International festival of classical music

Dialog Classica International Classical Music Festival opens on Wednesday, August 28. The Crimean Peninsula is hosting it for the first time, TASS reports. The opening ceremony will take place in the famous Livadia Palace.

The program consists of six concerts. As explained by the Ministry of Culture of Crimea, local performers and musicians from South Korea are going to take part in them.

The ministry is confident that the large cultural forum will help develop dialogue between European and Asian musical traditions. The festival also aims to strengthen relations between the two countries.

Famous musicians Kim Jeong A and Seo Dong-hyeon, winners of many international competitions, will come to Crimea. Festival guests will also listen to the virtuoso flutist Park Tae Hwan.

The joint performance of Russian and South Korean musicians will be held in the Marble Cave. The foreign guests from will also perform in front of the Simferopol audience.

The results of the festival will be announced on the last day of summer, August 31. After the competition, bright and expressive young performers from the Crimea will go on a tour of South Korean cities.
