Moscow and Budapest have concluded an agreement on the mutual recognition of educational documents. The corresponding document is published on the website of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

The agreement notes that Russia and Hungary recognize the education, qualifications and degrees obtained in both countries. This decision makes it easier to continue education and professional activities in accordance with the legislative framework of both states.

Russian and Hungarian authorities will recognize certificates of general, secondary vocational and specialized secondary education obtained in two states. Higher education diplomas are also equal in Russia and Hungary.

As Russkiy Mir reported earlier, Vladimir Putin called Budapest an important and reliable Russian partner in Europe. The Russian leader is confident that Hungary remains one of the key partners on the continent. This is especially important against in the light of deteriorating relations between Russia and other EU countries.
