Pictures of a young ballerina Lia from Dallas, made in front of the streets and sights of Volgograd, became popular on the Internet. The photos were created by a local photographer, when Lia and her mother, a native of Volgograd, came to visit relatives, V1.ru reports.

Zhanna Carter, who moved to the United States from Volgograd more than twenty years ago, annually arrives with her daughter in her native city. Lia is ten years old. She has been dancing for three years and has already achieved success. Last year the girl was invited to a dance school at the Dallas Conservatory.

During her visits to Volgograd, Lia works in local ballet schools. This helps her not to lose her dancing skills and improve her knowledge of Russian. This year, Zhanna Carter had the idea to photograph Lia in a ballet costume on the central streets of Volgograd.

The pictures are very colorful. They attract the attention on the Internet, especially among Americans. In the comments, users are enthusiastic about the beauty of the blond ballerina and Volgograd architecture.
