Egyptian students studied Russian at Makhachkala summer school

Egyptian students have completed their studies at the summer school of the Russian language, which worked in Makhachkala, Yoldash news agency reports. Guests from abroad studied at Dagestan State University.

The certificates were received by students who studied the language at Assiut University. Those who showed good performance in studies were selected for a trip to Russia. This year eleven people visited Makhachkala. The internship took place within the framework of an agreement on academic and cultural exchanges concluded by Russian and Egyptian universities. Previously, students from Dagestan went to Assiut University to practice Arabic.

Foreign students study at the Center for the Study of Russian Language and Culture named after Pushkin. It was opened last year by the Pyatigorsk State University.

In addition to classes with leading teachers of the University of Makhachkala, guests from abroad were expected to have a rich cultural program. Foreign students visited many museums, they made a trip to Derbent, one of the oldest Russian cities, and enjoyed the beauty of Dagestan nature and historical sights. A Russian-Egyptian student meeting called Russian is the language of fraternity and friendship between nations was also held with the participation of My Dagestan ensemble.

The team leader Dr. Hussein Ahmed Metava praised the level of teaching Russian in Makhachkala.

The summer school was completed with an excursion in Moscow.
