Italian entrepreneur Marco Maggi's book, "Russian to the Bone," is now accessible for purchase in Italy and is scheduled for release in Russia in the upcoming months. In the book, Marco recounts his personal odyssey, narrating each stage of his life as a foreigner in Russia—starting from the initial fascination to the process of cultural assimilation, venturing into business, fostering authentic friendships, and ultimately, reaching a deep sense of identifying as a Russian at his very core. Touristic agency of Bologna have launched the Temple with The Heart of Russia tour, which includes churches decorated by Russian artist Alexander Shevel. For eight years this artist from Kuban region was working in Italy. His original works appeared in 10 Catholic churches. Upon arrival back home the artist has written the book on that experience called Italian Diary, Kuban New reported.
Alexander Shevel was invited to Italy by a priest who worked in a church situated nearby Bologna. He learned about Alexander from his friends who, in their turn, saw Shevel's paintings on a cell phone of Shevel's friend who brought his wife to Bologna for a medical treatment. Italian priest loved distinctive style of Shevel's works.

The church's new frescoes have earned lots of compliments of Cardinal who was consecrating the temple, and local believers. In no time the artist had other work invitations from all parts of Italy and San Marino not only from churches but also from private customers. During those eight years the artist made many portraits that now could be seen in private houses and Fossano mayor's office.
