Eifman Ballet presents Anna Karenina and Rodin ballets in Japan

Eifman Ballet goes on tour in Japan for the first time in last 20 years, Teatral Magazine writes. 

Russian dancers will perform in three cities – Otsu, Shizuoka, and Tokio. Anna Karenina and Rodin ballets to be presented to Japanese audience. Such ballets as Idiot, Master and Margarita, Tchaikovsky were brought by Eifman ballet to the country of the Rising Sun at the end of the 20th century.

After such a big break audience can see again ballets that represent not only Russian but also world culture, said Boris Eifman. The choreographer hopes that Japanese audience will enjoy the performances. The theater repertoire has absorbed all creative achievements made over the years.
