Russian House of Science and Culture in Germany celebrates its anniversary. Its opening ceremony took place on the same day, July 5, exactly 35 years ago. Russian House in Berlin, located on Friedrichstraße, one of the main streets of the German capital, is the largest Russian cultural institution in the world. Its seven-storey building occupies almost a whole block, the total area is almost 30 000 square meters. Every year the number of guests exceeds 300 thousand.

For decades of its work, Russian house remained a place of attraction for all who love Russian culture and cherish Russian language. It is a center for promoting public diplomacy, public dialogue and cultural exchange.

Conferences, film festivals, numerous exhibitions, concerts and many other educational and cultural events are held in the Russian House. There are Russian language courses, theater and art studios, where compatriots and locals are working.

Interesting events follow each other in Russian House. Sometimes you can see representatives of different generations at one event, and sometimes you can not decide on the choice of an event, because the program is as diverse as our country.

The celebration is timed to the anniversary of the Russian House, and will be held on October 10.
