Association of Russian compatriots celebrated 30th anniversary in Algeria, vksrs.org reports. 

A large open concert was prepared for this date. Russian Ambassador Igor Belyaev has become its honored guest.  In his speech Belyaev has noted that the local Russian Association did a lot to consolidate the Russian diaspora, and urged them to continue this way.

Compatriots of different generations took part in the event. Poems, dances and Russian folk songs were performed.

The Head of  the Russian Compatriots  Association  Olga Kaidanovskaya gave awards to compatriots who invest their talent and  efforts in promoting Russian culture in Algeria.
