Regions of Russia to open sites at China-Russia Expo in Harbin

More than 1,300 companies will become participants of the 6th China-Russia EXPO, which opens in Harbin on June 14 and will last six days. About 400 square meters will be occupied by the exposition of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), which will be one of the main guests of the forum. A large cultural program will be held within the EXPO, TASS reports. 

Representatives of Yakutia came to China to reach an agreement with Chinese partners in fields of tourism, construction and other areas. Other Russian regions will open their stands at the exhibition. Irkutsk and Jewish Autonomous Regions will present the products of local manufacturers, and the delegation of Primorsky Krai will present the electronic visa regime. 

Representatives of Far East Investment Promotion and Export Support Agency will discuss a wide range of issues with Chinese partners. The parties will discuss cooperation in the fishing industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, mining, and other areas. 

According to the organizers, during the exhibition the parties will discuss trade and economic issues, problems of simplification of customs procedures and taxation, exchange of technologies in various fields and other topics. 

Guests will also enjoy a large cultural program. Exhibitions of paintings and photographs will be opened, festivals of Russian culture and children's art, as well as sports events will be held.
