Amur State University students are preparing for an international tournament on rocket modelling in the United States, Amur-Info news agency reports. They will demonstrate the results of the project, created by the members of the Scientific and Educational Center of the University and the members of the rocket modeling club of the North Seattle College.

Students invented and developed the Amur payload. It has already been brought to the United States, where work is underway to fine-tune integration with the Ranginuy missile created by American students.

The device is intended for the development of technologies for collecting space debris. Amur complies with the 3U CubeSat form factor, which is being encouraged by the organizers of the payload competition - the world-famous US research corporation for the development of space systems Space Dynamics Laboratory.

Student competitions will start on June 17 at a private space center in the state of New Mexico, near the city of Las Cruces.
