Russian government approved Agreement extensions with European Union on scientific cooperation

Russian government approved the agreement extensions with European Union on cooperation in the fields of science and technologies. The first agreement was signed in Brussels in 2000; it is prolonged for 5 years as of now. Under the deal scientists from partner countries and conduct joint scientific projects, exchanges and use facilities and laboratory-scale machines of each other, the Russian government website reports.   

The agreement has been prolonged three times by now. Russian and European scientists, teachers and university administrations benefit form opportunities established by this agreement. In the frames of this partnership new researches are done in many fields, the scientists get the access to partners' technologies  and equipment.

Seminars, conferences, visits are expected.

Government of the Russian Federation reminds in the decree, that the new agreement will help to strengthen scientific partnership between Russia and European Union.
