The Museum of Military Glory of Russia began working at a school at the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic, the Prague Express newspaper reports. The exposition includes three sections dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812, the First and Second World Wars. All wars swept over the land of the Czech Republic, and everywhere the Russian soldiers showed miracles of courage and heroism.

The museum was created by high school students. They and other schoolchildren were congratulated by diplomats, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and school leaders.

The museum was founded thanks to the search activity of the students. The schoolchildren worked in the archives, restored the Red Army’s combat paths, awards and other information about the soldiers buried at the Jihlava cemetery. Two stands are devoted to the Immortal regiment. There are photos of the ancestors of teachers and children who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and worked in the rear.

One showcase is dedicated to the Hero of the Soviet Union, military pilot Ivan Nikolaev. His grave is situated in the city of Hodonin. A few years ago, activists from the Czech Brno discovered fragments of a military aircraft and the remains of pilots near Breclav. It was established that this was the crew of the aircraft who died while carrying out a combat mission in April 1945.

The schoolchildren conducted an excursion for the guests at the opening of the museum. The most active students were invited to the Victory Day celebration at the embassy.

Creating a museum exhibition is the beginning of a joint military memorial work of the school and Russian Ministry of Defense. The school is planning to establish a monument of Marshal Konev, whose troops entered Prague on May 9.
