A test on the history of the Great Patriotic War will take place on Friday, April 26, Rossiyskoe Obrazovanie website reports. The action is international, and it has been held for the 4th year in a row.

Its organizer is the Youth Parliament at the State Duma. According to its Chairman Maria Voropaeva, young people are the main target audience, but anyone who wants can join the test participants.

The test is conducted with the assistance of Russian Military History Society and the Military University of the Ministry of Defense.

Maria Voropaeva stressed that another aim of the action is to consolidate young people from the former Soviet republics. Half of the questions were made by Russian historians, and the rest were sent from the countries of former Soviet Union.

It is planned that the number of participants will exceed half a million. Venues of the action will open in 40 countries on all continents. You can also respond online both in Russian and in English.

Subjects of questions will cover hostilities, life in the rear, culture, technology, the partisan movement and the pioneer heroes. There will be a sufficiently large number of questions that will be devoted to the biographies of people and their exploits.

Note, the action aims to improve the knowledge of Russian youth about the facts concerning the Great Patriotic War, and to arouse interest in the history of Russia. In addition, its organizers seek to bring the test to the international level, since Russia has a common history with many countries in relation to World War II.
