Tallinn is ready for a dialogue with Moscow, Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid assured. She said this during a speech at the opening ceremony after a major repairment of the Estonian embassy in Moscow. The visit of Estonian President to Russia was the first in the last eight years. The head of state suggested that this could be an additional stimulus for the build-up of relations between the countries, RIA Novosti reports.

Nevertheless, Kaljulaid added, it would take a long time - months, if not years, to achieve the result.

She noted that Estonians would like to have good relations with their neighbors.

According to her, the Estonian diplomatic mission has always worked in Russia, even in the most difficult years, and its employees still represent the interests of the Baltic Republic in politics and economics.

“Our embassy is geographically one of the closest to the Kremlin, but this has not always reflected our bilateral relations,” the Estonian leader specified.

Russkiy Mir reported that the embassy was located in the historical center of the Russian capital, inside the Boulevard Ring and in the immediate vicinity of the Kremlin, at number 5 in Maly Kislovsky Lane. The building was built at the beginning of the last century. It was built according to the design of the architect Alexey Shcheglov in early modern style.
