Academy of Saint Petersburg Music House opens in Vienna

Embassy of Excellence concert was held in Vienna on April 17, TASS reports. Performers from Saint Petersburg Music House took the stage at the hall of diplomatic mission of our country. The evening was included in the program of Youth Cross Year of Russia and Austria. 

According to Russian Ambassador Dmitry Lyubinsky, Russian-Austrian Year is aimed at developing and strengthening contacts between young people. The diplomat stressed that the geography of youth exchanges covers the regions of both countries. He called such a connection "workshop of the future". 

Head of diplomatic mission also said that one of the important results of the Сross Нear will be the start of work of the Academy of Saint Petersburg Music House in Austrian capital. Vienna branch will be the venue for master classes for young performers from Austria and Russia aged 16 to 30 years. In the future, musicians from other countries will join them. They will deal with leading teachers of musical universities. 

The ambassador also expressed hope that it will be possible to regularly get acquainted with the achievements of Vienna Academy of Saint Petersburg Music House in the future. At the same time, Lubinsky called the Embassy of Excellence concert a prelude to Russian-Austrian Sochi Dialogue public forum.
