Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid decided to go to Moscow, Sputnik news agency reports. She will visit Russia on April 18. This will be the first visit in the last eight years.

Head of state is going to become an honored guest at the opening ceremony of the Estonian Embassy in Russia. There was a large-scale restoration work.

The visit of the President has a working status.

Estonian Embassy is located in the historical center of Russian capital at Maly Kislovsky Lane, 5, which is inside the Boulevard Ring and close to the Kremlin. The building was constructed at the beginning of the last century. It was built according to the design of the architect Alexey Shcheglov in early modern style.

Last year, Estonian President claimed that she would agree to visit Russia only if the treaty on the border between Estonia and Russia was ratified. Kaljulaid said that she would be ready to come and thank Vladimir Putin.
