Total Dictation will be held in 14 cities in France on April 13, 2019. This will lead the country to the second place among European countries in terms of number of cities involved. About 1100 people will write the dictation; over 100 volunteers will help carry out the action. The venues of the global educational campaign will open in more than 1000 cities of Russia and the world this year, L'Observateur Russe reports.

France increases the number of cities involved in the action and the number of participants every year. Paris will host the event for the 8th time. French hinterland joined such megalopolises as Lyon, Strasbourg and Marseilles, in which thousands of Russian-speaking residents live. This year, Total Dictation will be held in Annecy, Beziers, Dijon and other cities. Total Dictation in France association was created specifically for the action in the country, and anyone can become its member.

Organizers of Total Dictation have developed TruD language quiz for those who have little or no knowledge of Russian language. They can solve tasks of different levels of complexity at the same sites where dictation takes place. It is very convenient for mixed families. Parents and children can come to the action together. They will be divided into audiences, depending on the level of language proficiency and desire.
