About 500 Russian books to be presented at London’s fair

Russian book publishers are going to take an active part in the book fair, which will be held in London in March. This will be the 48th fair in a row, Kultura TV channel informs.

Visitors will see about 500 books at the stand of our country. As Rospechat told, these will be works of modern authors for the most part. They will be supplemented by methodical and popular science publications. Books for young readers will be presented.

Books published abroad by the grants of the Institute of Translation will take a special place.

Round table on the translation of fiction is planned among the events. Its theme is "How books are selected for translation and how this selection reflects the literary scene of Russia."

Famous Russian writer Guzel Yakhina will speak in the framework of Women in Literature and Literary Translation: Realities and Stereotypes discussion.
