The charity concert was held in favor of state orphanages in the capital of Tunisia. It included the performances by pupils of Diaghilev ballet school to the music of Russian composers, gymnasts from the national team of Tunisia and many others. The Council of the Association of Russian compatriots of the Hot club became the organizer of the concert, according to the organization’s Facebook page.

Young ballet dancers from Diaghilev school and members of the children's and youth sports teams of Tunisia in rhythmic gymnastics, headed by Russian trainer Lyudmila Garbi, showed their skills at the concert.

Talented children from mixed families also took the stage. Russian choreography teachers, who also showed the audience their skills and performed folk dances of different countries, set the children’s performances. Funds from the concert will be transferred to orphanages in Tunisian capital.

The concert concluded with the song Katyusha performed by a young artist named Ryan.

Tunisia owes much of its rhythmic gymnastics development to Russian coaches and athletes. In fact, the history of this sport began in the country in 1997, when Teresa Kadri from Rostov organized a section in the capital of Tunisia. She also headed the Tunisian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. Today several victories and medals of international tournaments are on the account of section’s pupils.
