The reading room also works. The library is open three times a week; on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

As Russkiy Mir reported, Russian Cultural and Educational Society unites the residents of Poland, whose ancestors remained on this land after the collapse of Russian Empire. Russian Cultural and Educational Society existed in Poland from 1948 to 1975. After that, it was abolished by local authorities. It was restored in 1991, and returned to its historical name in 1993.

Secretary Andrei Romanchuk, whose mother and grandmother were members of the historic Russian Cultural and Educational Society, told Russkiy Mir that the Society holds essay, poetry and romance competitions in Russian for children and adults, organizes concerts and exhibitions.
