Authors of program note that they have chosen Russian folk fairytales as substantive content of textbooks on purpose. They think that fairytales are the basis of Russian culture and language. Children get into course easier as they understand the language of characters.

The program consists of three parts. First one is introductory; children have to guess the name of the fairytale by the illustration and read the text.
Second part is creative. Children have to write their own tale, draw up a crossword, play fairytale puppet performance or shadow theater. They can make a collage or application.
Third part of the project is a theater performance. Children turn into fairytale characters and act on stage in front of their parents.
