RUDN to create 9 clusters for foreign students

Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) created new educational system that will cover 70 countries. The project is to be completed by 2021. Educational 'cluster' will function in some Asian, African, Middle Eastern and CIS countries, TASS reported.   

New educational platforms will support professional contacts between Russian and foreign universities, involve local businesses and authorities from developing countries. RUDN is interested to involve talented students supporting them with high-quality education and helping later with optimal job placement in his home country. 

The program aims to built a system that will help prepare specialists requested on today's market. Each one of these 9 clusters to be placed in one of the countries but its activity will cover all countries of a region. It is planned to create strong ties between institutions and other organisations in educational, research, industrial directions. This cooperation will involve joint and outreach programs, olympiads and other activities helping to find talented students. 

RUDN has started working on the program in 2018. Cluster approach is used in medical and construction projects in African countries.
