Compatriots’ flashmob for 75th Anniversary of Leningrad relief

Compatriots living abroad were invited to join Remember Leningrad flashmob. It is dedicated to the anniversary of lifting the siege of Leningrad. The Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in Spain posted this on its Facebook page. The 75th anniversary of the total relief from siege will be celebrated on January 27. 

The organizers of the action are German Department of Officers of Russia, Drakkar historic reconstructions club, and the youth association of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots of Germany.

Initiators of the event are convinced that young generation thus can thank the veterans and pay respects to the heroic deed of the city and its residents. 

Those who want to participate in a flash mob have to post a video with words of gratitude on the page in social networks, and mark it with hashtags #rememberLeningrad, #pomnimLeningrad, #denkanLeningrad. The organizers will mount the received materials in one video and publish it for the holiday. 

The participants of the flash mob can take a selfie with its poster, sing a songs or read a poem, create drawings, posters, collages,  graffiti or animated movies, dedicated to the victims of siege and the hero city Leningrad.
