Lebanese Association of Russian Language and Literature Teachers is launched

The constituent assembly of Lebanese Association of Russian Language and Literature Teachers (LARLLT) was held in Beirut, the official website of Rossotrudnichestvo informs. Head of Russian Center for Science and Culture Vadim Zaichikov welcomed the participants and thanked them for the promotion of Russian language in Lebanon. 

The committee of LARLLT was formed during the first meeting and included Russianists representing different cities of the country: Alla Monzer (Baakline and Saidu), Olga Badaui (Tyre),  Alina Saliba (Beit Mery, Brumanu and Mtayleb), Irina Al Ezzi (Nabataea), Natalia Sallum and Elena Moussa (Batroun), Malohat Abduraimova (Beirut), Yulia Ibrahim (Jounieh), and Alexandra Zhukova (Tripoli). 

The Head of Russian Language School of Russian Center for Science and Culture, Ph.D in Russian language and literature Natalia Semaan became the President of LARLLT.

The participants of the meeting drawn up the joint work plan for 2019. They paid special attention to the activities that contribute to the cohesion of Russian-speaking community in Lebanon and the promotion of Russian education in the country.
