Russians are ready to bath in ice-cold water on Epiphany night

Every believer has a chance to bath on Epiphany night between January 18 and 19. The celebration that is highly loved by Russian people is being prepared now.

According to IA Interfax, 60 equipped bathing areas will be open in Moscow for about 180 thousand people who are ready to take part in celebrations. Every venue will have special anti-slip floorings, changing rooms, heating rooms, portable toilets and lightning. Doctors, police and rescue teams will be on duty on the days of bathings. 
More than 200 venues will be equipped in Moscow area, including 60 fonts nearby churches and Holy springs, 76 ponds and more than 80 open waters. 

Epiphany fonts will be open in most of Russian cities and many rural areas. For example, 25 fonts in Saint Petersburg and more than 100 fonts in Tatarstan. The most extreme bathing will be held in frosty Siberia with the -30C temperature this time. 
Rescuers give an advice to the people who will attend the bathing to be careful and control their health status.
