European theaters to perform at Moscow Christmas Journey Festival

Theaters from France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Denmark and Hungary will take part in the Journey to Christmas festival, which is set to begin on December 16. Moscovites and the guests of the Russian capital are going to indulge in theater feast for a month - theaters are going to perform on several scenes installed on Tverskaya Square. The entry to all performances will be free, Molnet.ru website reports. 

The festival will be the main event of the Moscow Seasons series. Theater has been chosen the main theme of the Seasons because 2019 was announced the Year of Theater in Russia. Until mid-January spectators are going to see hundreds of plays, shows and musical performances. The Danish ensemble Jordans Drive will also give concerts in Moscow on December 15 and 16.

There will also be Blue Christmas performance by the French theater Al et les Astrolobi, a puppet theater performance by Bentz Sarkadi from Hungary, a performance by the Italian gastronomic theater Le Strologhe - the artists will play a whole drama during the ordinary cooking of real dishes. The festival also includes Infinite Labyrinth concert by Danish composer Mathias Madsen Munch,  the performance of the Austrian Mirror family theater and other groups. 

The festival also boasts children Christmas tree shows, concerts of famous singers and groups, and festive table dishes masterclasses.
