Moscow is ready to work with Kiev, no matter who comes to power, says Russian President Vladimir Putin after the East Asian Summit in Singapore, TASS reports.

According to the Russian leader, the sides will come to consensus anyway. He voices the hope that the future leadership of Ukraine will understand the necessity of the Minsk agreements.

The President notes that Western countries should not condemn the elections in the Donbass and the political murders there. He reminded that the West never denounces them.

Vladimir Putin calls the elections in the Donbass an inevitable people's reaction to the political situation in the country.

In addition, there is a full-scale election campaign in Ukraine, so it makes no sense to organize a meeting in the Norman format.

Since the signing of Minsk-2, the current Ukrainian authorities have done nothing to implement it. Kiev demonstrates a clear reluctance to comply with the agreement. At the same time, for some reason Moscow is expected to comply with the agreement and they turn a blind eye to the inaction of the Ukrainian authorities.

Kiev also does not want to exchange illegally captured people. Vladimir Putin calls for the “all for all” exchange. Meanwhile, in Ukraine some imprisoned people are declared criminals and taken out from the exchange list.

There is nothing surprising in the fact that Donbass strongly disagrees with this. After all, Donetsk and Lugansk may act in the same manner.
