German MFA demands to close up Myrotvorets website

Ukrainian Kiev-based website Myrotvorets, that purports to reveal personal information of people who are considered to be "enemies of Ukraine", has to be closed down, according to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, RIA Novosti reports. The acute reaction of Germany was provoked by the fact that ex-Chancellor Gerhard Schröder was included into Myrotvorets database.

German diplomats reminded that they've insisted earlier that Ukrainian authorities close down the website.

Myrotvorets accuses the German politician in acting aggressively toward Ukraine sovereignty and anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

Note, the Myrotvorets website is active for several years. Just recently it's IP address has changed from Canadian to American. It owns personal data of Russian, Ukrainian ND foreign journalists who have accredited in Donetsk and Luhansk. Some of them are being threatened. Journalists were shocked by this, demanded investigation and erasing their personal information from the website. Russia has blocked the access to the website.

Defending Journalists Committee and Big Seven ambassadors have critisized the website. Russian MFA in Washington to refuse Myrotvorets in American "registration". Un claimed that Myrotvorets is breaking human rights.
