Russian community in UK to fight against labels

Russian Community Council of UK and North Ireland aims to build strong diaspora. Russian Community Council has registered as a social organisation, according to domestic rules, after 10 years acting within non-registered status. According to the head of the council Oleg Sotnichenko, strong diaspora united by common goals will protect Russian inhabitants in UK and fight against labels voiced by British politicians and media, VSKRS website reports.    

Due to the new status, the Russian Community Council of UK and North Ireland can legally hire any Russians from UK or North Ireland with working visa. Earlier it had to engage volunteers or people without professional skills. 

Russian Community Council plays role of Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in UK and North Ireland. According to Oleg Sotnichenko, from now on the new status will allow to build new powerful community by supporting Russian language education, strengthening ties with Russia, cooperating with other Russian communities abroad. Powerful Russian diaspora will help to protect compatriots from all kinds of attack. For example, lately British media accused in espionage half of Russian population of UK. Russian Community Council of UK and North Ireland has condemned such claims since they inflame inter-ethnic discord, and promised to  fight against labels by legal means.
