Foreign students from abroad can learn Russian in China

Non-sufficient knowledge of Russian will not be an obstacle for Chinese applicants if they want to continue education in Russia, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev is sure, TASS reports. 

Dmitry Medvedev has answered question of one Chinese person who wanted to know if he can apply to Saint Petersburg State University but doesn't have sufficient Russian language skills. 

The head of the government has recalled that there are Russian language courses at the St. Petersburg University. There's also The English and Foreign Languages University where Russian as a foreign language is taught.

Dmitry Medvedev has advised to the Chinese audience to read more Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Bunin, Kuprin.

There no problems with getting student visa, advised the Prime Minister who came to Shanghai with three-day visit to China. Medvedev to meet with Xi Jinping on November, 7th and to visit China International Import Expo, CIIE.
