The Reverse musical played by the Moscow Musical Theater was staged in New Delhi after the opening ceremony of the Russian Culture Days which will last until December. Russian Ambassador to India Nikolai Kudashev conveyed a greeting from Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky at the ceremony. Foreign Minister Vijay Kumar Singh and the Director General of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations Riva Ganguly Das represented India there, TASS reports.

The tickets to the Russian theater performance combining music, dance and acrobatics were sold out. The event took place in Kamani auditorium, one of the most famous and largest theaters in New Delhi. At the end of the performance, the audience gave a long standing ovation to the artists. According to Riva Ganguly Das, Indians love music and dancing. The play covers the international issues, tells about the human inner world and the daily need to make the right choice.

The Days of Russian Culture in India have a rich program. The Moscow Theater of the Musical on Wednesday will show the Reverse performance in Jaipur. Timofey Lockshire New Life Brass quintet will play in New Delhi, Chennai and Calcutta and the Vainakh Chechen state ensemble will dance in the Indian capital.

Russian culture is popular in India. This is proved by the Days of Russian cinema which took place in New Delhi and Mumbai. Russkiy Mir reported that more than 3000 spectators saw the festival’s films. The children's ones were also among them.
