The 2nd Russia - Latin America business forum has started on October 29 in the capital of Cuba, TASS reports. It is timed to coincide with the Havana International Fair (FIHAV) considered the largest trade and industry forum in Cuba and in the Caribbean region. About 4500 companies from 60 countries are represented there. There are about 20 Russian enterprises from various economic realms.

Businessmen and officials from Nicaragua, Guatemala and other Latin American countries came to Havana. They will substantively discuss with Russia long term joint projects in the energy, industrial, tourist and agricultural sectors. In addition, the forum will discuss ways to overcome difficulties impeding the cooperation development.

During the meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Cuban Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation several cooperation agreements will be signed.
