Eurasian Economic Forum kicks off in Verona

The 11th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) starts on October 25 in Verona, Italy, TASS reports. This year the event obtains the slogan Economy of trust and diplomacy of business from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

The occasion gathered more than a thousand politicians, entrepreneurs, diplomats, leading economists, public activists, scientists, bankers and officials from almost 50 states such as Japan, Austria, Belarus, Iran, China, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Singapore, Mongolia, the United States etc.

Russia is represented by a delegation of Rosneft head Igor Sechin and VTB Bank head Andrey Kostin. President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) Alexander Shokhin will join them.

According to Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev, the forum is expected to bring practical results and will be useful for those who participate in it.

President of Banca Intesa, President of the Conoscere Eurasia Association Antonio Fallico assures that with increasing confrontation in the international arena, with the announcement of new sanctions and other obstacles, business circles are increasingly interested in eliminating these impediments, restoration old ties and establishing new contacts.

Business diplomacy role is growing in the modern world which is becoming unpredictable.
