Frog Princess, Magic Swan Geese , Sivka-Burka and other Russian fairytales in Russian and French languages have entered new book publishd with support of Franco-Russian Alliance association. Book with two parralel textx in both languages can help learnin Russian and French languages, website of Coordinating council of Russian Compatriots of France reports.
20 most popular Russian fairytales with illustrations were called by Russian and French language specialists a successful example of adopting Russian-language folklore to French language. Editors supported issue with comments and explanations of some dishes of Russian cuisine.
In her review the Dean of the preparatory department of the Pushkin Russian Language University Natalya Tatarinova marks that editors of the anthology have took into account national specifics of the French readers and their readiness to read Russian literature.
Russian literature is very popular in France, new translations of Russian classical literature is actively published. Note that new Marina Tsvetaeva anthology was issued in October. The book includes some poems that were never printed before in France.
